Hiab has completed the acquisition of Brazilian crane manufacturer ING Cranes, following the announcement made on 26 November 2025. The move significantly strengthens Hiab’s position in the Brazilian market and complements its existing portfolio in the country.
The acquired business will be included in Hiab’s financial reporting from the first quarter of 2026. ING Cranes recorded sales of approximately EUR 50 million in 2024. The companies have agreed not to disclose the transaction value.
According to Hiab, the acquisition expands its offering of loader cranes in Brazil, enabling the company to provide a full range of solutions from light to heavy-duty applications. This broader portfolio is expected to further reinforce Hiab’s role as a preferred supplier to the agriculture, rental, construction and transportation sectors.
Marcel Boxem, VP Sales & Product Management for Hiab Loader Cranes, Heavy and Superheavy, said the addition of ING Cranes strengthens Hiab’s brand portfolio and enhances its ability to serve customers across multiple industries in Brazil.
Horacio Bregoli, CEO of ING Cranes, welcomed the transaction, stating that joining Hiab creates new opportunities for growth, innovation and international development, while allowing ING Cranes to contribute to Hiab’s long-term vision for the crane and lifting industry.
