The TII Group, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of heavy-duty and special transport solutions, has expanded its footprint in India with the opening of a new office in Pune. The move marks another milestone for the group, following ten years of successful operations in the Indian market.
The Pune office complements TII Group’s existing manufacturing facility in Bawal, near New Delhi, and will serve as an additional hub for sales, service and project engineering for the Scheuerle brand. The expansion underlines the group’s long-term growth strategy and its commitment to close customer proximity in one of the world’s fastest-growing transport and infrastructure markets.

The new location will be led by Miguel Fernandes, Managing Director of TII India Pvt. Ltd., who also oversees the Bawal site. This structure ensures close integration between sales, service, project engineering and manufacturing, covering the entire process from quotation and engineering to delivery and commissioning. According to Fernandes, Pune will consolidate project engineering, sales and service activities for India and parts of Asia, enabling faster response times, local language support and direct customer engagement from initial planning through to aftersales.
Filippo Baldassari, Managing Director of the TII Group, highlighted that while Bawal continues to produce transport solutions for global projects, Pune will function as an additional regional hub supporting India and wider Asian markets.
Since establishing TII India Pvt. Ltd. in 2015, the group has made significant investments in the Bawal plant, which manufactures transport solutions for industry, energy and infrastructure sectors. Fully integrated into TII’s global production network, the facility meets the same quality standards as its German operations and has delivered several thousand axle lines worldwide.
