Megalift, a member of the Project Cargo Network (PCN) in Malaysia, has successfully carried out the transport of an exceptionally long structural beam measuring 110 metres in length. The heavy-lift cargo, with full dimensions of 110 x 2 x 6 metres and weighing 140 tonnes, was delivered to Kota Tinggi as part of a recent project.
The company handled the complete logistics scope, including road transportation and the challenging relocation of the beam from the customer’s yard to the designated project site. Due to its exceptional size, the operation required meticulous planning, the deployment of specialised transport equipment, and highly experienced personnel to ensure a safe and controlled move along public roads.

According to Megalift, this cargo ranks as the third longest item they have transported on public infrastructure. The company highlighted the complexity involved in managing such extreme-length movements, which rely on precise coordination and technical expertise.
“Megalift is proud to deliver,” the company stated, noting that its capability to execute high-risk transport operations continues to reinforce its position as a trusted heavy logistics specialist in the region.
