Royal Cargo Vietnam has completed three major breakbulk shipments to Australia, moving more than 15,500 cbm of heavy lift and oversized cargo as part of a large-scale August project.

The company handled the entire operation end to end, including factory transport from multiple sites, port handling and vessel loading, all while meeting tight sailing schedules. Cargo originated from four different locations, including Hai Phong and three fabrication sites in Phu My, each presenting its own challenges. Several items required specialised lifting, stowage and rigging due to unconventional dimensions, while others faced strict readiness deadlines that pushed loading windows to the limit.

At Phu My, the team worked under strict factory conditions to handle complex components. In Hai Phong, some cargo was not ready upon vessel arrival, prompting rapid coordination among surveyors, port teams and vessel agents to remain on schedule.

Despite weather disruptions, shifting timelines and technical constraints, all three shipments were completed safely, efficiently and on time. In total, 308 packages were loaded across Hai Phong and Phu My ports, including thickeners, pipe racks, structural steel and steel mixer settlers. The combined volume reached 15,748.90 cbm with a total weight of 2,144.052 metric tonnes, all delivered to Henderson, Australia.
