Konecranes has announced the appointment of Jussi Rautiainen as President, Business Area Industrial Equipment, and a new member of the company’s Leadership Team. He will assume the role on January 1, 2026, succeeding Marko Tulokas, who became President and CEO of Konecranes in June 2025. Rautiainen will report directly to Tulokas.

Born in 1978, Rautiainen holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Management. He currently serves as Senior Vice President, BU Quay & Horizontal within Konecranes’ Port Solutions business area. Since joining the company in 2004, he has held several key managerial and leadership roles across various business units.

“The Industrial Equipment business is in good shape today, and I am confident that Jussi Rautiainen is the right person to build on its positive momentum,” said Marko Tulokas, President and CEO of Konecranes. “His extensive experience will be instrumental in advancing our strategy and strengthening our position in material handling solutions.”

Rautiainen expressed his enthusiasm for the new role, stating: “I am grateful to accept another exciting challenge at Konecranes, a company that has provided me with many opportunities throughout my career. I look forward to contributing to our Leadership Team and continuing our successful journey to meet our customers’ evolving needs.”
