Marine Masters has been selected to support the installation of two offshore wellhead platforms for Indian energy company SunPetro. The greenfield Bhasker A & B platforms, developed under the management of ACE Pipeline and supervised by Consolidated Support Services PTE LTD (CSS), will feature robust jackets with integrated boat landings and topsides.

Marine Masters will handle all lifting and mooring preparations, jacket and topside installations, pile upending and driving, and the creation of a dedicated platform for subsea and piling operations. Each jacket weighs approximately 800 tonnes, requiring precise engineering and execution.

The installation will be carried out using the heavy-lift crane barge Conquest MB1, which has a lifting capacity of 1,400 tonnes. The vessel is also equipped with two mobile cranes, with lifting capacities of 180 and 500 tonnes, ensuring safe and efficient operations.

Currently en route to Mumbai, the Conquest MB1 is scheduled to arrive on March 7, 2025. Following inward clearance and mobilization, it will proceed to the offshore site in the Gulf of Kutch, 110 nautical miles south of Kandla, India, with installation expected to be completed by May 15, 2025.

“We are honored to support SunPetro, ACE Pipeline, and CSS in this high-profile project,” said Henk Smith of Marine Masters. “The Conquest MB1 will remain available in the region for additional offshore projects, including salvage, decommissioning, and transport and installation operations.”
