Develon, formerly Doosan Construction Equipment, will make its debut at Bauma 2025, held from April 7-13 in Munich, Germany. The company’s exhibit will highlight the latest advancements in machine technology, digitalization, sustainability, automation, and alternative drive concepts.

A major attraction will be Develon’s Real X, the next step in autonomous machinery. Building on its Concept-X and Concept-X2 developments, Real X enables Develon’s smart crawler excavators to perform fully autonomous tasks, including trenching, bulk earthwork, and truck loading. The system integrates AI-powered excavation technology, offering flexible operation modes—autonomous, remote control, or manual joystick operation.

Visitors will also experience Smart Around View Monitoring (SAVM), an AI-based object detection system providing operators with a 360-degree view to enhance site safety. Additionally, Develon will unveil Transparent Bucket 2.0, which improves visibility on wheel loaders with new object detection and recognition capabilities, further reducing accident risks.
