AAL Shipping (AAL) is proudly celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2025, marking three decades of delivering world-class solutions to the multipurpose, project, and heavy lift cargo sectors. To commemorate this milestone, AAL hosted a special customer event during Breakbulk Middle East in Dubai, reflecting on its achievements and future vision.
Since its founding in 1995, AAL has grown into a leading carrier, expanding across key global trade routes and serving industries such as energy, infrastructure, construction, and mining. Its commitment to operational excellence, investment in cutting-edge vessels, and strong customer relationships have been pivotal to its success.

“Reaching this milestone is a testament to the dedication of our teams across four continents and the trust of our customers and partners,” said AAL CEO Kyriacos Panayides. “Over the past 30 years, we have navigated market fluctuations, geopolitical challenges, and even a global pandemic, but our commitment to delivering reliable, high-quality shipping solutions has never wavered.”

As part of its ongoing expansion, AAL is rolling out its third-generation 32,000 dwt Super B-Class vessels, designed to meet evolving industry demands. This follows its successful introduction of second-generation 19,000 dwt S-Class and 31,000 dwt A-Class multipurpose heavy lift vessels, reinforcing its position at the forefront of project cargo shipping.

During Breakbulk Middle East, AAL welcomed hundreds of visitors to its stand, hosted an exclusive rooftop reception, and participated in expert discussions. Managing Director Christophe Grammare took the stage to address fleet capacity challenges and regulatory pressures affecting the sector.
