Damen Shipyards Group has introduced its new Logistics Support Ship (LSS) series, designed to enhance naval forces’ operational reach and sustainment. The series includes the LSS 9000 and LSS 11000, measuring 127m and 140m, respectively, offering flexible and cost-effective logistical support.
Equipped with NATO-standard replenishment at sea (RAS) technology, RoRo capabilities, and substantial cargo capacity, the LSS enables efficient fuel, munitions, and supply transfers. Its modular design allows for rapid configuration for disaster relief, humanitarian aid, and training operations.

With advanced propulsion systems for reduced emissions, the LSS aligns with modern naval sustainability goals. “The LSS offers enhanced capabilities, efficiency, and sustainability at a competitive price,” said Piet van Rooij, Damen’s Commercial Manager Defence & Security.
