Konecranes has introduced the D-Series electric chain hoist, designed for industries requiring high-performance lifting solutions. Built for durability, safety, and efficiency, the hoist offers lifting capacities from 80 kg to 5,000 kg across seven frame sizes. Initially available in the EMEA region, global expansion is planned through 2026.
Key features include advanced safety mechanisms like a slipping clutch with speed monitoring, 24V contactor control, and operating limit switches. Its modular design ensures quick installation, reduced downtime, and low maintenance, with key components remaining service-free for up to 10 years. A compact design makes it ideal for space-constrained environments, while a 7-digit status display provides real-time diagnostics.
Starting in March 2025, Konecranes will offer quick-ship hoists with standard features for faster delivery. The ergonomic pendant control and optional Manulift system enhance load handling, and radio control options provide added flexibility.
Manufactured in Germany using 100% renewable electricity, the hoist follows Konecranes’ Design for Environment (DfE) principles, emphasizing durability, repairability, and sustainability. Built from recyclable metals with eco-friendly packaging, it reflects Konecranes’ commitment to reducing environmental impact while delivering cutting-edge lifting solutions.
