DP World has launched a Finished Vehicle Hub in Zeebrugge to boost efficiency and connectivity for Europe’s automotive industry. Located within the port’s RoRo Hub, the facility features a 7,000-vehicle compound with intermodal access, streamlining storage, transport, and processing.
The hub offers services such as short-term storage, customs clearance, and end-to-end logistics. It provides intermodal links via barge, rail, and sea, ensuring efficient and sustainable vehicle transport across Europe, including the UK, Ireland, Scandinavia, and the Mediterranean.
Awarded in 2024, the concession includes a Container Freight Station, high & heavy storage, charging stations, and digital logistics tools. Tony Hotine, EVP Western Europe at DP World, emphasized the hub’s role in tackling congestion and enhancing supply chain efficiency.
