AAL Shipping (AAL) has received the Innovation & Digital Award at the World Energy Supply Chain Awards (WESCA) 2024 APAC, recognizing its impactful contributions to the energy sector.
A standout achievement for AAL is the launch of its new Super B-Class fleet, featuring the AAL ECO-DECK. This retractable weather deck system expands clear deck space to over 5,000 sq m, boosting efficiency, reducing voyages, and cutting fuel consumption, costs, and emissions.
The dual-fuel, methanol-ready vessels meet top emission standards while digital tools like the Performance and Optimisation Control Room (POCR) enhance sailing efficiency.
AAL CEO Kyriacos Panayides emphasized the fleet’s forward-thinking design: “These vessels anticipate future energy sector needs, ensuring reliability for years to come.” He celebrated the award as a testament to AAL’s commitment to innovation and sustainability.
