Victaulic, one of the leading manufacturers of mechanical pipe joining systems has announced the opening of its new prefabrication facility in Drezdenko, Poland. Located within its existing foundry, this new facility will help the company meet the increasing demand for prefabricated piping solutions across Europe.

The European prefabricated construction market is expected to see significant growth in the coming years, with projections from Fortune Business Insights forecasting an increase from USD 18.41 billion to USD 27.30 billion by 2030. In response to this, Victaulic has repurposed space within the Polish foundry to focus on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) projects, with the potential to support the fire protection industry and other sectors.

The new facility brings Victaulic’s EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) total to four production locations, joining existing sites in Belgium, Portugal (via a joint venture with DC Piping), and Dubai.

We are excited to open our new prefabrication facility in Poland to address the growing demand for high-quality, ready-to-install mechanical piping solutions,” said Branden Kotyk, General Manager of Victaulic EMEA. “This facility will help us reduce installation time, improve delivery speed, and ultimately accelerate overall project timelines, all while reducing risk.”

The 1,500 m² facility will have the capacity to prefabricate mechanical piping systems ranging from 1 to 24 inches in diameter. It will enable Victaulic to handle multiple projects simultaneously, offering efficient and reliable installation solutions for a wide range of projects across Europe.

By repurposing part of its existing foundry, Victaulic has minimized environmental impact while expanding its prefabrication capacity, underscoring the company’s commitment to sustainability.

This investment in Poland is a reflection of our ‘make where we sell’ principle. By producing closer to our customers, we can significantly reduce lead times, improve communication, and build stronger relationships. It also supports our sustainability goals by reducing transportation emissions,” Kotyk explained.
