Chapman Freeborn has appointed Bernardo Nunes as Chief Operating Officer, marking his return to the company after previously serving as Director of Transformation and Analytics from 2021 to 2022. Nunes brings with him more than 25 years of experience in the air cargo supply chain and finance sectors, positioning him well to lead Chapman Freeborn’s daily operations and drive the company’s strategic objectives.
Eric Erbacher, CEO of Chapman Freeborn, expressed confidence in Nunes’ leadership, noting, “This is an exciting time for Chapman Freeborn, and I am confident that Bernardo’s leadership will help us reach new heights as we work towards our 2030 vision and beyond.”
In his new role, Nunes will oversee operations across Chapman Freeborn’s group companies, including Magma Aviation, Intradco Global, and the Arcus Air Group, with a focus on enhancing cultural, strategic, and operational cohesion within the organization. “I’m thrilled to be back at Chapman Freeborn,” said Nunes. “Together we will utilize Chapman Freeborn’s decades of knowledge and experience to further cement our place as the leading air charterer.”
This leadership change comes on the heels of Chapman Freeborn’s recent accolade at the Payload Asia Awards, where it was recognized as Air Charter Broker of the Year for the second consecutive year
