Materials, Energy, AI, it’s another very big edition of JDL EXPO that will take place on September 25, 26 and 27, 2024 at the Palais des Congrès in Beaune, with this year some very exceptional new features.
It is the show of the international majors of handling, lifting, exceptional transport and lifting of people, where this year Liebherr will present for the very first time at a show its brand new 400-tonne capacity crane. It is also at the JDL that we will be able to draw inspiration from the achievements mastered in hydrogen such as for example the hydrogen-powered Alpine Alpenglow, a model unique in the world, 90-meter nacelles, exceptional handling and transport trolleys and systems that are out of the ordinary will be on the front page of Beaune.
In addition to this, other assets, such as learning about AI, digitalization or discovering all the new energies and their distributions.

THE TV SET ON THE THEME OF REINDUSTRIALIZATION
“It is a major asset for the show and this year’s theme will be “reindustrialization”. With major projects and exceptional construction sites, nuclear power, offshore wind turbines, safety and isolated workers, exceptional transport and road issues, Data centers. But also other subjects will be discussed such as the future of the lifting market, training for auxiliary crane drivers, retrofitting, financing or even data and AI which will also hold an important place.
Finally, this year, JDL TV will present its new section with the “1/4 hour of new products” where 4 times a day on the set, 3 manufacturers will have 5 minutes of speech to present their real new products.
Our shows are filmed and broadcast live, throughout the show, on social networks, and on JDL TV. Hosted by Marion Savoy and our editorial team, they will debate live with field speakers, on all the current concerns of the sector. The JDL TV set will also record its first monthly newscast.
