Veolia has selected a consortium led by Eiffage Génie Civil and Chantiers Modernes Construction, a subsidiary of VINCI Construction, to design and build three water treatment plants. This €400 million contract, shared equally between the two companies, is part of Veolia’s concession from Syndicat des Eaux d’Île-de-France (SEDIF) to manage public drinking water services in the Île-de-France region.

The project involves constructing new low-pressure reverse osmosis (LPRO) treatment plants, upgrading power supplies at the Neuilly-sur-Marne and Choisy-le-Roi plants, and converting the Méry-sur-Oise plant to LPRO technology. It includes demolition, special foundations, and ancillary buildings.

The LPRO facilities will feature membrane buildings, associated reactive buildings, and a Multiflo decantation facility, with new high-voltage transformer substations and connection networks. Veolia’s subsidiary OTV will handle the overall design, with Egis Eau providing project management support. LELLI Architectes and MVRDV will oversee architectural services for the Choisy-le-Roi and Neuilly-sur-Marne facilities, respectively.
