The enhancements include in-situ repairs for minor damages without removing the propeller, as well as more extensive repairs conducted in a dedicated workshop. Utilizing nickel aluminium bronze alloys and advanced repair techniques like laser pitch checking, the facility ensures unparalleled efficiency and precision.
The company has expanded its team of qualified professionals to meet the highest industry standards set by the International Society of Classification Societies (IACS). Capt. Rado Antolovic, CEO of Drydocks World, emphasized the company’s commitment to maritime excellence and innovation, highlighting its ability to swiftly address propeller issues, earning trust from shipowners.
In the past two years, Drydocks World has successfully repaired over 20 fixed pitch propellers and 50 CPP blades, showcasing its effectiveness and efficiency in service delivery. Alongside propeller repair enhancements, the company has introduced a state-of-the-art Cryogenic Pipe Shop, Gasket Manufacturing Facility, and CNC Plate Cutting Facility, aimed at continuous improvement and technological advancement in maritime services.
The Cryogenic Pipe Shop is equipped to handle exotic pipe fabrication for sectors like oil, gas, and renewable energy, with advanced welding and fabrication tools. The CNC plate-cutting facility features enhanced plasma cutting and auto sensor technology, demonstrating Drydocks World’s commitment to quality and innovation.
Additionally, a new Gasket Manufacturing Facility with automated CNC technology operates round the clock to produce a versatile range of gaskets, supporting continuous operations across all production units.
