Raimondi Middle East has deployed six tower cranes, including the MRT234 model, at a renowned entertainment and retail district. Tasked with contributing to the construction of a large-scale mixed-use development within a hallmark lifestyle hub by a leading UAE master developer, the six cranes, featuring two MRT159s and two ER240s, underscore Raimondi’s pivotal role in shaping the city’s skyline.
Wael Hassan, Commercial Director at Raimondi Middle East, expressed pride in the company’s vital role on this esteemed project, marking a triumphant year with over 50 cranes now deployed across the UAE. The deployment includes the introduction of the MRT234, specially commissioned for this project, showcasing Raimondi’s commitment to innovation and meeting evolving construction needs.
The six tower cranes are strategically positioned across three main plots, each hosting a pair of Raimondi tower cranes. Notably, the ER240-14t hammerhead cranes boast jib lengths of 50m and height under hook (HUH) of 57m and 59m, contributing to the project’s efficiency and effectiveness.
Hasan highlighted the cranes’ substantial lifting capacity and exceptional performance, emphasizing their role in supporting a cost-effective installation process. The project’s timeline includes an estimated 12-month period for the dismantling procedure, mirroring the strategic protocol followed during the installation phase.
Upon completion, the mixed-use development will feature residential buildings, high-end amenities, retail spaces, commercial areas, and one of the city’s largest parks, further enhancing Dubai’s dynamic urban landscape.
