With Bruno Le Maire (French Minister for Economic Affairs and Finance), Elisabeth Borne (Transportation Minister) as well as the CEO of the CMA-CGM group Rodolphe Saadé, the inauguration of the Antoine de Saint Exupéry container ship recently took place in the port of Le Havre. This cargo with exceptional dimensions (400m long, 59m width and able to ship 20 600 PVE or 123 km of containers) just spent 467 days at sea from Asia and will leave tomorrow full of french goods for the Asian markets.
The Finnish company has announced that they will participate in the Trade & Transport Impact initiative. This program, introduced by the startup accelerator Rainmaking Ltd, aims to connect startups and corporations in order to address the biggest challenges in maritime, cargo transport and logistics. With a three-year plan, Trade & Transport Impact is the first project with this kind of terms in scale and global scope within maritime and logistics.

In order to keep up with the pace, we want to work together with those who are innovative, nimble and can act fast. Startups are excellent cooperation partners (…) with modern solutions, technologies and business models,” explained Tero Hottinen, Director Emerging Digital Business of Cargotec.
