Manitowoc Cranes has celebrated 50 years of collaboration with Israeli dealer Levinson Brothers Engineers. Established in 1930, Levinson has imported and sold Grove all-terrain cranes as well as provided aftersales support to Grove customers across Israel since 1968. To make the occasion, Manitowoc gifted Levinson with a golden Grove crane model and a trophy at the dealer’s headquarters in Holon, Israel.

Offshore transportation and installation contractor Jumbo has been awarded a contract by Technip for the transportation and installation of a 410t subsea production manifold off the coast of Israel for the Leviathan development. The project includes a subsea production system connecting high-rate subsea wells to a fixed platform located 10km offshore Israel. Jumbo’s Offshore division will perform the task of lowering the manifold onto the seabed at a 1643m water depth and will also install various SSIV’s and valve skids at a depth of 86m. Jumbo will also take care of the equipment transportation from US Gulf Coast to Eastern Mediterranean sea.
The Leviathan Field is located in the I/14 Leviathan North and I/14 Leviathan South leases, approximately 125km west of Haifa, Israel, and 35km west of the Tamar field in the eastern Mediterranean Levantine Basin.
The construction company Gabay Group has become the exclusive dealer of Linden Comansa in Israel. The two companies signed a three-year contract in March 2018, after Linden Comansa’s 16LC220 tower crane received the approval from the Standards Institute of Israel.
The agreement between the Gabay Group and Linden Comansa includes the immediate purchase of three tower cranes model 16LC220 12t, as well as the purchase of other cranes in the course of 2018 to achieve the objective stated in the contract. These three cranes, that will be part of Gabay Group’s fleet, will have their first job at the construction of the residential complex Hadar ve Yosef in Tel Aviv.
Established in the late 1980s, Gabay Group is one of Israel’s leading construction and real estate companies. Becoming the exclusive dealer of Comansa in Israel is part of the plan to expand its business and enter the tower crane market in both sales and rental.
