Bahri, one of the global leaders in logistics and transportation, was awarded three prestigious recognitions at the seventh edition of The Maritime Standards Awards 2020, held at Dubai World Trade Centre, Dubai, UAE, on 23 November. The company was awarded in the Ship Owner/Operator of the Year, the Tanker Operator of the Year, and the Maritime Standard Excellence Award categories, the latter of which was presented to the President of Bahri Ship Management, Eng. Abdulaziz Sabri, for his contributions to the ship management industry in the region.

Commenting on the awards, Eng. Abdullah Aldubaikhi, CEO of Bahri said: “We are delighted to receive these three awards as we near the end of an exceptional year for Bahri, despite the global challenges. Our dedicated pursuit of business goals, together with our well-thought-out strategies to deal with new and existing challenges, have helped us achieve sustained growth during the year,” he said.

Aldubaikhi added: “Winning these prestigious honors would not have been possible without the hard work of our employees and the trust and support of our partners and clients. These awards will further motivate us and strengthen our efforts to realize the objectives of the Kingdom’s ambitious long-term objectives. They will also inspire us to innovate and deliver in line with our commitment to transforming and empowering the logistics sector of the region.”

Every year, The Maritime Standard Awards recognize outstanding achievements of the industry, in the presence of key decision-makers from across the Middle East and the Indian Subcontinent.
