One of the major South Korean construction company, Hyundai Engineering and Construction, has achieved this month a 1.5 trillion won worth overseas orders in Qatar and Singapore.
On January 14, the company has received a letter of authorisation (LOA) for the construction deal of the Lusail Plaza Tower PLOT3 in Doha, Qatar, worth 609.3 billion won from the Qatar Real-Estate Development Company. Also, on January 2, Hyundai Engineering and Construction won a 613 billion won order to build the Lusail Plaza Tower PLOT4, which marks the first overseas order for 2020. Only in Qatar, the two projects has brought to the Korean company orders worth 1.2 trillion won(€951 million)
The construction of the Plot 3 project includes a 70-story office building and affiliate facilities due to competition by the end of 2022.
Meanwhile, on January 7, Hyundai Engineering and Construction and its Singaporean partner won a 270 billion won (HEDC:€143 million) order to construct a sports center in Punggol, Singapore.
