Chantiers de l’Atlantique will build a giant liner for Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd.

The Norwegian-US based shipping company Royal Caribbean International, specializing in cruising fleets, has just ordered a new Oasis-class cruise ship from the French constructor Chantiers de l’Atlantique. The new ship, 362m long and capable of accommodating 2857 cabins, belongs to the category of the largest cruise ships ever built. It will normally be completed and delivered by fall 2023. The contract between the two parties is worth about 1.2 billion €.
