The MacGregor company, part of Cargotec, concluded an order of three linkspan with Bouygues Travaux Publics, booked into the third quarter 2017 of the Finnish group and which will be done in 2020. The manufacturer will be in charge of the design, fabrication and installation of three floating linkspan. They will be engineered around 1500 tons of structure steel and will serve to streamline the traffic in Calais, regarded as the most frequent RoRo hub in the world. Relations between MacGregor and Bouygues are good, as « we delivered two linkspan in Morocco in 2009, and we have been involved in Garden Bridge Project in London », says Michel Van Roozendaal, President of MacGregor.
